Possible to search and display customer number column in customer module i litium 7

I many cases you have a customer number and want to find and person or organization. this is not possible via search or in the list view.

 

You want to be able to search on customer number and see the customer number in the list view for persons and organizations.

    This ability was shipped with Litium 8.6.

    Any updates since it doesnt look like it made into the Litium 8 release

    Its not only a hassle for our customers, its a hassle during development as well and when looking for errors. And also when you get a bug report from customer saying "our customer 5335 cannot log in".

    Then its us that have to go into the database to find what customer they mean.
