Would be nice to work with blocks on product pages.
For example:
Defining different block areas on product templates
Using global blocks, adding criteria for which products they should be visible in (re-using campaign criteria perhaps?)

I hope that this could be reconsidered now, and planned for the future. We have the ability since a few versions back to add blocks to categories and having the same option on products could be great for creating more interesting product pages.
