For some strange reason, the order history has been removed from the customer profile card in backoffice. This is a HUGE problem as there is now no way of quickly finding orders for a given customer, for example when the customer service department needs to answer questions that a customer might have on a specific order.
Any updates for this ideas? Seems to be both popular and long-awaited. :)
A customer brought up a similar request just today. They would also like to sort the Customer/Organisation list by "Create Date" to quickly see if their latest B2B customers have place their first order yet.
Perhaps a "Total orders" and "Total amount" would be of value as columns in the Customer/Org list as well.
Hi,
Thanks for the feedback Niklas!
During the many large releases it has been challenging for us to focus on improving the existing abilities in the platform. Our ambition is to focus also in this area, now when all modules are refactored and redesigned.
Thanks again for the feedback.
Hi,
Firstly, a response time of close to two years doesn't really encourage the "ideas" community.
Secondly, the order search at the time this idea was posted was referring to Litium 7, in which there is no dedicated customer number search feature - there's only the "smart" search field which is about as bad as it gets. For a customer project that has 30 million orders, it takes roughly 60 seconds to get a search result and even then 99,9% of the results aren't even related to the customer number entered in the search field.
Lastly, it's not very user friendly having to jump between modules like this. If I've located a customer in the sales module and wanted to see their orders, I used to be able do that directly from the customer card - now I have to copy the customer number, switch to the sales module and perform yet another search. Assuming I'm not using L7, that is. Because then it's probably faster, and way more reliable, to open a direct connection to the database and write a manual SQL query to fetch the orders, rather than using the "smart" search feature.
Hi,
I understand the value of finding this information for a given customer number. In the Sales module, there exists the possibility to search for orders for a given customer number. How far does this take us?
Except for the obvious that the user might be in the customer view in Customers module, what are the benefits of having this in the Customers module as well?
Only asking to learn more, to be able to decide further product development in the best way of course :)
If you consider to bring it back, fields/columns below would be appreciated in that view
* Unit Campaign price exkl VAT
* Discount amount
* Voucher Code (which voucher code that has been used)
