PIM - History

Change the way history is presented. Today the History tab is useless:

  1. It holds so much data that the site just loads for a long time to in the end is not able to present it.

  2. When the history in the beginning did load (because it didn't have that many updates) it was hard to read it and find what you were looking for.

Previous PIMs I have worked with have a history "button" on every field. Extending an log with timestamp, user, previous value and new value with the possibility to choose this previous value.

I think history is good when you need to troubleshoot, or if you accidental updates an entity and did not remember the previous setting.

    The slow loading of the history tab is fixed in version 7.4.0.

    I understand your use case of being able to change a field's value to an older one. Good idea!

    Our main focus with the history tab was actually the other use case you mention: being able to troubleshoot, when for example checking whether the product data was upgraded as expected on an integration. Would a search or filter in this view make it easier to find what you are looking for, or is it actually the other use case that would help you the most?
