The new bulk edit feature seems very good, and the customers I have shown it to so far wants to upgrade right away and start using it. I am however missing the ability to remove already set values using the bulk edit. It currently requires you to set a value before you can save, meaning it cannot be used to clear already set values.

This is true Felix. We opted for this since we in the past have had experiences from similar actions where customers have experienced the deleting behaviour as erronous and a "data loss". Let's see how others perceive this.
