Ability to fetch a single entity using the Storefront API

Often you need to fetch one or more entities other than the one i the current URL-context, for example if you have a list of article numbers in a cookie to display recently visited products or article numbers saved in state.


Currently you cannot use the Storefront API to fetch a specific entity. Preferably you would like to be able to fetch any specific entity using a separate call to the Storefront API.

    The ability to fetch an entity in the Storefront API is planned to cover all the entities that today exist in the API. Check out the road map for updates on when this will be released. See the row "Node/nodes" in the end of the list in the roadmap for the API.
