When working with pages the blocks feature is great. How ever you also need to work with fields on the page since listing and search result uses these fields (image, title, introduction) to display the page.

This is sometimes confusing for the editor.

Instead it would be great to be able to select a "main block" or "main fields" on the blocks, which then could be used by lists and search results to represent the page. Then you would be less dependent on page fields and templates.

This feature could also be used to know what title should have the h1-tag, og:image and so on.
