Extend workflows: global scope and automation

Workflows is very useful in PIM but would be much more useful if it was global and could be used to create actions on any Litium entity.

Workflows UI could be the replacement for the current dashboard as startpage after login.

Example usage needs:

add missing translations in CMS
find categories without URL
identify unused media files
find groups without users

Automate day-to-day product tasks based on business rules via workflow Merged

I would like to be to have the ability automate simple day-to-day management tasks, especially when data is updated by external systems. I.e. we have a price-based rule that any item with a price above a certain amount should have the price hidden...
