Improved UX for blocks

Some issue that I think would greatly improve the user experience if resolved:

  • Its unclear what block area a block is in

  • Cannot move a block from one block area to another

  • Cannot easily add a block at the bottom of a page if many blocks, add blocks button could be sticky?

  • Ability to hide/show blocks not active on the current channel? (Default should be hidden I think)

    Hi,

    I believe most ideas, except the last about channels, were shipped with our latest version Litium 8.9.

    We are planning to look into solving how the blocks for different channels should be previewed in coming versions.

    This is how a block looks now, when there is no preview.

    All of these blocks have contents.

    Possiblity to add a text instead of preview for blocks.

    Or fix the preview rendering properly.
